Maranatha Christian Church

The vision of MCC is rooted in its Aranaic name which translates to "Our Lord Come". The Church's operational focus and spiritial outlook are defined by specific visionary elements.

1. Anouncing the return of Christ
2. The core vison of the Church is to preach the Gospel to every Creature and dynamically anounce that Jesus Christ is the saviour Who is coming soon.
3. Preparing the "Bride".
4. The work of the Holy Spirit.
5. Global Mission Hub.

MCC focuses directly on preaching the Gospel and preparing the world for the return of

Jesus Christ. The Church views its calling not just as a name, but as a prophetic

spiritual announcement.

Core Spiritual Purpose

1. Announcing Christ’s return: The mission is to proclaim that the Lord Jesus isalive and that the world is living in the final prophetic hour before the secondcoming.
2. Preparing The “Bride”: The church teaches that its duty is to prepare the globalChristian church (referred to as the “Bride of Christ”) for the rapture.
3. Following Holy Spirit Guidance: The mission emphasizes reviving the gift ofthe Holy Spirit, such as prophecies and visions, as foretold in the biblical book of Joel.

international Mission. Maranatha Christian Church was introduced to Malawi in 2007 by

Professor Dru Steveson who was by then a Senior Pastor of the church in Houston

Texas. Between that time and now the church has grown in membership and size.

MCC guides its spiritial identity, community life and structural organisation. They shape the everyday practices of its members based on what the denomination defines as a return of primitive Christianity.

• Biblical inerrancy. The Bible is treated as the absolute truth and the sole authority dictating every aspect of Church governance, preaching and personal lifestyle.
• Active Prophetic Guidance. The church highly values the contemporary operations of the Holy Spirit, expecting direct communication through dreams, visions and spiritial gifts to navigate daily life.
• Living by the Resources of Grace: Constant prayer fasting and continuous praise.
